Meet Some of Our Previous Speakers
Dasha Savage

Stanford School of Medicine
Dasha Savage is a third year medical student. Lately, her life reads like: Copyright © UWorld, Please do not save, print, cut, copy or paste anything while a test is active.
Meha Semwal
4th Year Medical Student
University of Colorado
Meha has been making things since she was very young. Her mud pies were renowned as the “best in the neighborhood”. Her homemade birthday cards were “much cheaper than buying a Hallmark”. Her poems aspire to these same great heights.
Priya Krishnan
4th Year Medical Student
University of Colorado
Priya Krishnan used to roll everywhere and probably still would if her parents hadn’t bribed her to learn how to crawl by placing Cheerios slightly out of her reach. These days, she enjoys adventuring in the mountains and baking homemade sourdough pizzas with increasingly strange toppings.
Jenny Tiskus
3rd Year Medical Student
Stanford School of Medicine
Jenny Tiskus, teetering on the threshold to clerkship at Stanford Medical School, enjoys scouting for misshapen citrus on walks with her dog, and has a speculum tattoo on her bicep. Jenny is a native Montanan, Little Shell Chippewa descendant, fly fisherwoman, and former professional letterpress printmaker. She dissected a beef heart in the fifth grade talent show.
Joey Lew
1st Year Medical Student
University of CA San Francisco
Joey learned young from household pets that a searching glance often earns a treat, and has been staring longingly at cakes (and cake owners) ever since. When not baking, medicine-ing, or eating, Joey writes poetry and hangs out with her partner and dog.
Anthony Carli
1st Year PA Student
Midwestern University
Anthony Carli is from Phoenix, AZ. He doesn’t need his cats to like him, but at the very least, he wants their respect. As a proud Italian boy, he likes to cook and talk loudly with his hands.
